When I started my culminating project, I was sure of two things: I want to make a story video and I wanted it to have clear emotions. I knew I wanted to share with viewers something sort of personal, a story following characters of my own creation to a song that I quite enjoyed. In my culminating, I present a story of a character wistfully reminiscing about the past(the past being a story I hope to write someday) and wishing to be back with a character who is her best friend and love interest through pictures and effects, creating what is commonly known through the Youtube animation community as a Picture Music Video, or a PMV.
My inspiration to create a PMV came directly from the Youtube animation community, having been a part of watching animation videos on YouTube since I was about 8. I chose the song Wherever You Are by Winter to portray this story, and I worked tirelessly on creating a presentable product. My final product used 17 frames, 13 frames put together in total. It's on a 1280 by 720 aspect ratio for a higher quality and still manageable drawing space. ***Unfortunately I cannot upload the video to YouTube. I'm really sorry about this!
