Answer the following questions: 1. Reflect upon the creative process and the completion of this artwork: a. Where did your idea originate from? My idea originated from Picture Movie Videos from Youtube. b. Who did you talk to gain ideas or receive feedback? To gain ideas or receive feedback I talked to Mrs. Cameron and classmates who sat with me. c. How did your ideas change over the course of the project? Explain why. My idea to create a 4 minute video changed when I decided to reduce it to a 2 minute video. This changed due to time constraints. d. What ideas stayed the same? My ideas that stayed the same are my original ideas for the characters my video follows and the story the video follows. 2. How well did you use your class-time? I used my class time very well. a. How much of your project was completed at home and how much was completed at school? (percentage-wise out of 100%) Home= 25% / School= 85% 3. What would you do differently (from the beginning) if you had the chance to start again? If I had the chance to start again, I would spend less time on the sketch and more time on lineart and colouring. 4. What is your favourite part of your creation (section, style…)? Explain what you like about it. My favourite part of my creation is the beginning. I like it because looking at it makes me feel proud that I managed to begin a project I've been wishing to do for a long time. 5. What was the most difficult part to complete? Explain. The most difficult part to complete was properly tweening all the frames. I had to be precise with when and where they moved. 6. Did you work smart or hard? Or a combination of both? Explain. I worked a combination of smart and hard. I worked hard on completing my culminating asap, and worked smart to complete it in sections that would take up less time. For example, once I was done with all my lineart and colouring, I added the finished art to Flash and tweened them then went on to draw all my backgrounds. 7. Is there any other information I should know when marking your work? No. 8. This section is a reflection of the course as a whole, rather than your culminating: a. What projects did you enjoy this semester, and would like to see continued for future students? (check your mark printout for reminders of what we did) I enjoyed the Photoshop-related projects like Photoshop Fun, and I'd like to see them continued. b. What projects did you really dislike and wish “no student ever be subjected” to again? The Flash assignment should not be continued in the assignment without extra lessons on how to use it. c. What projects challenged you to be a better artist, even if you did not feel that they were “technically” successful? No projects had this affect on me. d. What parts of the art history (talking about contemporary artists) did you enjoy? I enjoyed learning about what the artists do for a living and all the differences in their works. e. What art history would you like to see added (what did you still want to learn about)? The current art history lessons are fine. f. If you could design a project for this course, what would it be? Nothing comes to mind. 9. Is there anything that you would like to tell me? That I haven’t asked? Folks be cute in the art class. 10. Do you have plans for next year? Do any of them involve art? Please explain. I plan to take Visual Arts and Photography next year! I look forward to it and hope to be working with you more, Mrs. Cameron!
