1. Reflect upon the creative process and the completion of this artwork: a.How did your ideas develop and start? My ideas developed when I looked through my photo storage for an image I might want to use before taking a new image. Once I found the painted glass image I decided I wanted to draw an animal like it's a painted glass mirror. b.Who did you talk to gain ideas or receive feedback? I talked to my friends and teacher for feedback on if the body should be shown behind the mirror, and eventually decided to change it to look like a continuous mirror after suggestion. c.How did your ideas change over the course of the project? Explain why. When I worked on a concept for the image I initially planned a more lithe creature and had it's body showing behind a space in the mirror. I eventually changed it to a more bulky creature with the mirror connected. d.What ideas stayed the same? My idea for a painted glass drawing stayed the same, along with the colour choice of the creature. 2.How well did you use your class-time? I used my class time efficiently to finish the assignment. a.How much of your project was completed at home and how much was completed at school? (percentage-wise out of 100%) Home= 0% / School= 100% 3.What would you do differently (from the beginning) if you had the chance to start again? I wouldn't do anything differently from the beginning if I had the chance to start again. The process I went through was helpful with learning. 4.What is your favourite part of your creation (section, style…)? Explain what you like about it. My favourite part of my creation is the painted glass appearance I gave my creature. I knew I wanted to do it from the start and I love the colours and shine I gave each slab on it's body. 5.What was the most difficult part to complete? Explain. The most difficult part to complete was properly lining the creature. With the lack of layer difference between the background and glass, I had to work to keep the lines from covering the glass. 6.Did you work smart or hard? Or a combination of both? Explain. I think I worked a combination of both smart and hard. I planned how I wanted my drawing to fit with my photograph and worked hard to finish it as quickly as I could while not rushing my work and coming out with the best product I planned. 7.Is there any other information I should know when marking your work? No. I'm a pretty good.
