When I began the concept for my flash animation, I knew I wanted to have something simple with a hand moving. I took inspiration from art I drew a week before of a nice looking but easy to animate character in my sketchbook, and made a concept on photoshop. I then moved to redraw exactly what I wanted into flash, separating the head, body, arm, and hand. I coloured it in, then moved on to my background in a new layer. I wanted the background to be dark so it would fit in with the colours of my character, so I made it a dark forest. I think started to animate my character's head and hand, then added a tween to my background to make it appear as if the character is walking. I then drew a foreground in a new layer, tweening it to move over my character to add depth to the art, and have an endpoint when the character reaches a huge tree, where the motion then resets. I made sure the animation I put in was enough, then touched up on uncoloured spots and finished my animation. I enjoyed creating the animation and had little struggle, and I am satisfied with the product.
